Well, folks, this week there has been quite a bit of attention on the group based in Crewe because of a major police operation that took place.
I did an article last year exposing them https://bornagainchristians.org/2025/04/30/beware-false-claims-of-a-group-in-crewe/ and a friend Miguel Hayworth, did a comprehensive article here https://ukapologeticslibrary.net/abdullah-hashem-aba-al-sadiq-a-heretical-architect-of-a-dangerous-cult/
So just yesterday 29th of April 2026, over 500 police officers from Cheshire Police and other forces carried out raids on three addresses connected to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light, including their headquarters at Webb House in Crewe.
According to the official statement from Cheshire Police, nine people were arrested on suspicion of serious sexual offences, forced marriage, and modern slavery.
Another thirteen people were arrested for public order offences. The investigation is still ongoing, searches are continuing, and those arrested remain in custody.
As of now, no one has been charged. We need to be very careful to stick only to the facts that the police have reported. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
This news has brought many people searching for information about this group on our website here at bornagainchristians.org
The Most Important Issue for Christians
Now, while these serious allegations are very troubling, the most important issue for us as Bible-believing Christians is not just what is being alleged, but what this group actually teaches about our Lord Jesus Christ.
The leader, Abdullah Hashem (who calls himself Aba Al-Sadiq), and those who follow him twist the Scriptures in very dangerous ways. Miguel shared with me by email that this group is making false and even disgusting claims about Jesus.
One of their teachings suggests that Jesus forgave the sinful woman because she performed a sexual act on Him. Friends, that is a blasphemous lie. There is no support for such a thing in the Word of God.
Look at what the Scripture actually says in the Bible, I’m sharing verses from the NKJV tonight:
“Then He said to her, ‘Your sins are forgiven.’ … And He said to the woman, ‘Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.’” (Luke 7:48, 50)
“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (John 8:11)
You need to understand that Jesus is holy and without sin, who never sinned not even once. True forgiveness is received through repentance and faith in Jesus completed work on the cross, not through any sexual immoral act.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)
The Bible warns us plainly about those who preach a different Jesus or a different gospel:
“But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8 NKJV)
We must test every spirit and every teaching by the Word of God.
A Call to Prayer
Let’s be faithful to pray for all the people involved with this group.
Pray for those who may be trapped, confused, or under control. Pray especially for those who want to leave but are afraid and don’t know where to turn for help.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the truth of the real Jesus Christ, the Jesus of the Bible.
Pray for the children in the group, and ask the Lord to give wisdom and protection to the police and authorities as they deal with this situation.
You know, Jesus is still the only way, the only truth, and the only life. No new leader, no new “Riser,” and no new revelation can ever replace what Jesus has already done for us on the cross.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6 NKJV)
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11 NKJV)
May the Lord give us all wisdom and discernment in these last days, and may many come to know the true Saviour who sets people free.
