Hi folk

I want to speak to you plainly, as a father speaks to his children, about something that ought to grieve every blood-bought believer in this land.

I have just watched, with my own eyes, a one-hour documentary that takes us behind the curtain of those migrant camps in northern France. A young British builder went undercover for two weeks among the very men who are daily launched across the Channel in small boats.

What he saw and recorded is not the picture we have been fed for years. These are not mainly helpless families fleeing war. They are overwhelmingly fighting-age men, living in lawless jungles ruled by criminal gangs, Algerian mafia, Taliban enforcers, Chechen ex-military, Palestinian smugglers proudly showing videos of executions.

Semi-automatic gunfire cracks through the night. Crack cocaine is cooked in the tents. Death threats are given for pitching a tent in the wrong patch of woods. French police, paid hundreds of millions of British taxpayer pounds, are filmed escorting these groups on buses and trains, watching them run to the dinghies, and doing precisely nothing to stop them.

Brethren, this is organised evil on an industrial scale, and it is being facilitated right up to the water’s edge.

Now the Word of God is crystal-clear. We are to “love the stranger” (Deut 10:19) and show mercy to the truly needy. But the same Bible commands rulers to be “a terror to evil works” (Rom 13:3-4) and tells us to “rescue those being led away to death” (Prov 24:11). Who is being rescued here?

Certainly not the British schoolgirls being followed into leisure-centre toilets by men who arrived on these very boats.

Certainly not the women and girls in our towns who live in fear.

Certainly not even most of the men in the camps, many of whom are little more than indentured slaves who now owe the gangs thousands of pounds they can never repay except by crime.

This is not compassion; this is complicity in wickedness.

What then shall we do?

  1. Pray earnestly. This is spiritual warfare dressed up in humanitarian language (Eph 6:12).
  2. Speak the truth in love to your neighbours, your MP, your MSP, your pastor. Share the documentary far and wide. Silence in the face of such evil is not meekness, it is cowardice.
  3. Demand of those in authority: Why are we paying the French half a billion pounds to escort the boats instead of stopping them? Why are convicted sex offenders who arrived illegally still walking our streets?
  4. Support ministries that reach out to the real victims of trafficking, both the exploited migrants and the British girls caught in the fallout.

The Lord Jesus said, “The truth shall make you free.” Britain will never be free while we keep swallowing the lie that uncontrolled, unregulated, gang-run mass migration is somehow the same as biblical hospitality.

Awake, O Church. The watchman’s trumpet is sounding.

Stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong (1 Cor 16:13).

May the Lord give us courage to obey Him rather than men.

Peter
